After a largely uneventful weekend, and an equally sedate Monday, yesterday things got interesting. Tuesdays are an inordinately long day, which is okay, because I did get a lot of work done on my portfolio which is due next week. I have two projects due before the break, and one just after. The one project I am almost done, the other I have just started - so the one due after the break, which I was hoping to finish before I left for the break, will be coming with me, and somewhere between London, Bath, and Paris, will get done.
But, after tutorial finished at six last night, we headed over to Alix's for an awesome wine and cheese night! So much cheese! So much wine!
... we kind of decimated that pile of food. I ended up walking home at 1am, because the buses weren't running, but Logan was home and he nicely agreed to FaceTime with me on the way home, so if I was murdered he would... know... in Canada...
Okay, not necessarily helpful. I didn't see a single person in 30 minuets anyways. Some photos from the party:

How I got home, if you were curious (you probably weren't) |
Today I was at Melissa's to film another episode of the YouTube channel Melissa, Alix, and myself recently started. Because I had so much spare time. In December. It is still very much a work in progress as we figure out not only the filming aspects, but the tone of the videos. The basic concept, however, is to do two videos a week, one on Tuesday and another on Friday. In the Friday video we will always be doing a book review, while the content of the Tuesday video will vary.
You can watch them if you want. Be warned, however, that we do swear a fair bit. It is definitely not a PG literary review (nor is it particularly highbrow). But regardless...
here we are. We also have a
tumblr, if you are into that sort of thing.
Kyra Jensine - You appear as a "Group of Beauty Queen Contestants", and that table of food, cheese and wine, - - - WOW!! If this is the life of a student, all I can say is " COUNT ME IN " ;-) ;-) ;-)
ReplyDeleteAhhh, now I can see the shenanigans that you have been up to! A youtube channel...I would have never guessed.
